What can I use the connection for?

Will I notice it when I am not asking about myself?
Yes. Your AI assistant adapts the tone and format of its answers to your personality, also for questions that have nothing to do with it. How do I let ChatGPT know who I am?
You can describe yourself in ChatGPT's settings or memory. Then you decide what goes in. With the connection, ChatGPT reads your profile from the personality test, based on the Big Five. That is more complete and stays up to date when you retake the test.
What is MCP?
MCP stands for Model Context Protocol. It is an open standard that lets AI assistants such as Claude and ChatGPT use data from other apps securely. Personal User Guide offers an MCP server, so your AI assistant can read your personality profile. That profile is based on the Big Five.
Which AI assistants does it work with?
With any AI assistant that supports MCP servers with sign-in, such as Claude and ChatGPT. In Microsoft Copilot, MCP servers are usually added by your organisation's IT administrator.
Do I need an account?
Yes. When you connect, you sign in with your Personal User Guide account. No account yet? Take the free personality test first, then connect.
What does the connection cost?
Nothing. The connection is free for everyone with a Personal User Guide account.
Can my AI assistant see my colleagues' profiles?
No. The connection only shares your own profile. Want advice on working together? Describe your colleague yourself. Your AI assistant estimates their preferences and gives advice for your combination.
